As student at ICS you suddenly have an enlightening moment in which you consider the role of a teacher.

You realise that teachers are people too and that there is not always enough time to do all the things that they plan.

You decide that you would like to help them.

—Your task is: create something that will help one of your teachers teach a class, a teacher's aid.

MYP4 came up with a variety of topics and products to help teachers at ICS, such as; a sports bag to carry football poles, a tray to carry equipment from one room to another, display boards to deliver information, a blog with key resources, an interactive Power Point and the list continues. Students must design a stuffed toy based on different bacteria, cells or patterns collected. They must then develop and create a final product using the textiles skills learnt this term.  Create something “ugly” but beautiful?!”

MYP5 where taken off time table for a day to complete their final "create" criteria for moderation.

As students at an international school I is important to respect different cultures and religion, to promote awareness and understanding.

MYP5 students where set the task to promote one of the two within the school, demonstrating positive awareness and tolerance though the use of food.

They spent the day, cooking, creating packaging and advertisement to promote a client’s culture. At the end of the day we had a mini street fair, where MYPP students, staff and their clients had the opportunity to taste and celebrate international day with us.

The day was a huge success, with all students engaged, working very hard to create dishes fit to sell at any street fair in London!

MYP3 have been looking at the development of flight, researching man made and natural ways to fly, The result is the final flying objects in the drawings and video below.

For our last project in A.C.E, students had to create a unique presentation, showing and explaining how they communicate on line. Know two groups were allowed to use the same media, or present about the same topic.
